This search engine will return results that include the catalog number entered, as well as any other catalog numbers that use the same values, but contain a suffix to indicate a packaging option or another version.

You can receive results for an entire family of products (excluding catalog numbers with a package code prefix) by simply entering the catalog number symbol. Search results will include all catalog numbers containing the initial catalog symbol. E.g., searching for catalog symbol MDL will bring up all catalog numbers for 1/16 amps through 30 amps, including any catalog numbers containing a package code suffix.

If you are searching for a catalog number that has a prefix to designate its packaging option, that prefix must be included in your search.

Common packaging option prefix and suffix you may encounter are, but not limited to, the following.

BP/ - blister pack for retail display and selling
BK/ - bulk pack, a large quantity of a product in a box or poly bag
CP/ - packaging to meet the needs of Canada
VP/ - value pack, a larger than blister pack quantity in a clamshell or blister package

-AP - ammo pack to meet automated assembly needs
-BK (-BK1, etc.) - bulk pack, product in a box
RLD - reload, a large quantity in a poly bag for replenishing a retail display
